Winning the Keldwyth award was such a great experince for me, giving me the confidence I needed in getting started at music college. The money I won went towards my studies – I completed a BMus at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, before going on to do a Post Graduate course at the Royal Academy of Music. I then freelanced for a few years, and am now back in Glasgow as a member of the 1st Violin section of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, as well as a founding member of The European Chamber Players and the Broderick Horn Trio.
