Since 2011 Daniel has completed a Bachelor of Music degree with Honours at the Royal Northern College of Music. In recent years he has toured to Italy with the National Strings Youth Academy, performed in St. John’s Smith Square, St. Martin’s in the Field London, the Bridgewater Hall Manchester and toured with conductor composer Penderecki in Germany and Poland and at the Lake District Summer Music Festival and Aldeburgh Festival as well as more unusual settings such as the British Museum, Imperial War Museum North and Victoria Baths in Manchester. He currently lives in Kendal and is planning to begin a Masters in Cello performance in Germany in the Winter semester 2016. This year he is giving a series of solo cello concerts in the North West and partaking in the Schleswig-Holstein music festival in Germany as well as the Tunbridge Wells Music Competition in Kent. Since his award in 2011 he has also been saving and securing funding to buy a newly-built cello, which was commissioned and completed in 2015.
