Heather Storer

Heather is a recent graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying with Maya Iwabuchi and previously Gina McCormack. During her time at RCS, Heather’s love of ensemble playing led to involvement in groups ranging from viol consorts, symphony orchestras, to premiering student works at the Cumnock Tryst Festival and RCS’s contemporary Music Festival ‘Plug’. In 2016, she received the Dunbar Gerber Prize for Chamber Music at RCS. During her last year at RCS she also became a member of the newly formed Roslin String Quartet, who recently played a short series of concerts as part of the 2017 Aberdeen International Youth Festival.
