Magdalena Loth-Hill

After winning the Keldwyth Award in September 2009, Magdalena started as an undergraduate at the Royal College of Music, under Itzhak Rashkovsky. She has had regular chamber music coaching with the Saconi Qurtet, performed with the RCM String Ensemble at Queen Elizabeth Hall under Vladimir Jurowski and at St. Paul’s Cathedral, and with the University of London Symphony Orchestra throughout the year, at Cadogan Hall and various other venues.

She finished her first year with a first-class honours grade. Last term, Magdalena was invited to play in the Opera Orchestra for five performances of Smetana’s ‘Bartered Bride’ and then in Assisi for Robin O’Neill’s conducting master classes.
